Junior Account Manager

SanoRice is a proud Dutch family business with a rich history and a bright future. We have grown into the largest private label producer of rice, corn and multigrain waffles in Europe. We owe our success to the constant development of new and surprising products that meet the highest quality and food safety standards. From our branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and soon Poland, we supply products to A-brands, retailers and distributors in more than 40 countries. For our centrally organized Sales department in Veenendaal we are currently looking for a:

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As a Junior Account Manager you are responsible for sales to existing and new retailers, distributors and A-brands. As part of the experienced sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing contacts with existing and new customers in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

In terms of content you can think of:

  • The independent achievement of turnover, margin and profit targets.
  • You conduct price negotiations and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts.
  • You make market analysis and forecasts.
  • You visit international clients and fairs.
  • In addition to close cooperation with your sales team, you also work intensively with (international) colleagues from Operations, Supply Chain and R&D.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are commercial, a team player and have a Bachelor or Master degree.
  • You have already gained some 2 – 5 years of commercial experience. This work experience may also have been gained in, for example, a commercial office role. Experience in the food sector or B-to-B is a strong advantage. It helps if you have experience with MS Office, ERP systems and software for data analysis
  • You are communicatively strong in both the Dutch and English language, it is certainly an advantage if you can also communicate in the German language.
  • You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Strong communication skills and with an international scope
  • Customer-oriented and enterprising
  • Representative and energetic
  • Proactive and hands-on mentality
  • Self-starter and networker

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We offer a challenging position in an innovative and ambitious (family) company with plenty of room for your own development. The terms of employment are appropriate to the position, supplemented with a car, laptop and mobile phone. You also receive 25 vacation days and a pension scheme in which SanoRice reimburses part of the premium. The Sales team works entirely from Veenendaal and wherever you are “needed” internationally. It is of course possible to work from home on a regular basis, although we do expect you to check whether your work permits this.
