Junior Account Manager

From our branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Poland we supply products to A-brands, retailers and distributors in more than 40 countries. For our centrally organized Sales department in Veenendaal we are currently looking for a Junior Account Manager:


As a Junior Account Manager you are responsible for sales to existing and new retailers, distributors and A-brands. As part of the experienced sales team (Benelux and UK), you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding contacts with existing and new customers in the United Kingdom region.

In terms of content you can think of:

  • Independently achieving turnover, margin and profit objectives.
  • You conduct price negotiations and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts.
  • You make market analyzes and forecasts.
  • You visit international customers and trade fairs.
  • In addition to close collaboration with your sales team, you also work intensively with (international) colleagues from Operations, Supply Chain and I&D.


  • You are commercial, a team player and have a Bachelor or Master degree.
  • You have already gained some 2 – 5 years of commercial experience. This work experience may also have been gained in, for example, a commercial office role. Experience in the food sector or B-to-B is a strong advantage. It helps if you have experience with MS Office, ERP systems and data analysis software
  • You have strong communication skills in both the Dutch and English languages, it is certainly an advantage if you can also communicate in the German language.
  • You are willing to travel internationally regularly

You also receive 25 days of vacation and a pension scheme where SanoRice reimburses part of the premium. The Sales team works entirely from Veenendaal and wherever you are “needed” internationally. It is of course possible to work from home on a regular basis, although we expect you to check whether your work also allows this.
