Recruitment Manager

From our factories in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Poland, we supply products to A-brands, retailers and distributors in more than 40 countries.

SanoRice is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. We’re launching a brand-new career website integrated with a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support our expansion across European sites and our holding company. To streamline and centralize our recruitment efforts, we’ve created this dedicated Recruitment Manager position.

The team

Recruitment responsibilities are currently distributed across the organization. This role centralizes these efforts, requiring regular communication with HR colleagues in the Netherlands and Belgium, and providing occasional support to colleagues in Italy and Poland as needed. You will report directly to and consult regularly with the Chief People Officer.

What does the role entail?

This role blends hands-on recruitment with strategic employer branding initiatives. As Manager of Recruitment, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for SanoRice Netherlands, the Holding, and occasionally international sites, from vacancy creation to offer generation. Besides building our online presence you’ll also lead projects focused on improving recruitment processes, such as developing procedures, a referral program, campus recruitment, and an (international) onboarding program.

Furthermore, your work will also include the following:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, define job requirements, and develop targeted hiring strategies aligned with urgency and budget.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, acting as the liaison between hiring managers, candidates, and HR.
  • Consult with the team lead, HR, and hiring manager regarding internal candidate availability.
  • Proactively source passive candidates using creative techniques, networking, and talent pipelines.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors to ensure timely delivery of qualified talent.
  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies across various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance SanoRice’s employer brand, including establishing campus recruitment initiatives.
  • Implement process improvements, such as automating candidate screening and assessment, to streamline the selection process while maintaining quality.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment and employer branding.

What are you bringing?


To perform this role well, you recognize yourself in the following points:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment roles, including talent acquisition and employer branding responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and strategies.
  • Proficiency with various recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the food industry or a manufacturing company is a plus.
